History
Probuild NT was founded by Phil Danby in 1992. What initially started out as a small family business, soon developed into a major Construction player in Central Australia. Phil’s personable attitude rubbed off on his staff, and his values still shape the way Probuild operates to this day.
In recent years, Phil has relinquished some of his responsibilities by offering part ownership to Mick Betteridge and Mark Manuell, local builders who have together have contributed to years of construction management to some of Central Australia’s iconic projects.

Over the years Probuild NT has created many strategic alliances with the most sought after and professional contractors in the construction business. It has also led to strong relationships being built with industry suppliers. Probuild has earned the respect of clients across Central Australia by providing professional service and an end product we are proud of putting our name to, every time.
Local Development
Our commitment to the community of Alice Springs and Tennant Creek is legendary. We are major supporter of over 20 local organisations and sporting teams across Central Australia and remain one of the most generous organisations in Alice Springs.
Probuild also has an active Indigenous Employment and Training Implementation Plan where we are striving to assist with indigenous employment and skill enhancement programs for Indigenous locals in Alice Springs and remote communities.
